About the role:

The Digital Dentistry Tech Support team provide general technical support, demos, installations and training for our current customers and potential customers on the current and furture ZimVie Digital Dentistry portfolio. The workflow covers (but is not limited to) guided surgery planning software, CAD software, intraoral scanning, laboratory scanning, CAM, in-house milling, 3D printing, external “centralized” production (milling center), library installations, workflow connectivity and integration in to customer’s existing workflows. This function will be predominantly performed remotely and from time to time at client premises where necessary (Extensive training will be provided).

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Field incoming technical support queries from customers in dedicated markets (based on language competencies)
  • Act as an intermediary between our customers and second level support (3rd party equipment manufacturers or centralized production facility) to solve more complex technical problems
  • Remotely assist and support with the installations and training of software and hardware.
  • Initiate and follow up with customers and colleagues on any training related issues that arise with regards to installations, ongoing technical use and updates to the system software
  • Inspection and repair of customer equipment at the headquarters office or at a customer’s location
  • Ensure new technologies and processes are adapted to current systems effectively and have the capacity to assimilate expert product knowledge and the ability to transfer that knowledge to customers.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of procedures that involve the use of any products and technologies in digital dentistry

 

Your profile:

  • Dental Technician or Dental Field Service Technician with digital workflow experience and preferably expertise with one or more of the major CAD systems (RealGuide, Exocad, DWOS, 3Shape).
  • Fluency in French and good communication skills in English
  • Strong IT affinity
  • Strong communicator and able to create productive customer relationships with ability to train & teach
  • Problem solver mentality
  • Organized, detail oriented and disciplined.
  • Have natural enthusiasm and interest in Digital Dentistry
  • Spanish and English mandatory, other language is a plus (German, Italian or Portuguese).
