About the role:
As the Associate Director, Distributors & Business Development Dental, you will lead the strategic and operational efforts to drive the success of our EMEA distributor network. Your mission is to ensure distributors achieve and exceed sales targets, while spearheading business development initiatives that expand market reach. You will own P&L responsibilities, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and foster strong partnerships to deliver sustainable growth and impactful results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive Sales Performance: Take full ownership of sales targets within the EMEA distributor network, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals and collaborate with distributors to identify and unlock new business opportunities.
- Strategic Execution: Implement global marketing and sales strategies, adapting them to regional needs. Develop sales tools and resources to support distributor success.
- Financial Accountability: Prepare and manage the distributor network’s budget, ensuring P&L alignment with goals. Monitor budget performance and address variances.
- Business Development and Partner Management: Build and manage relationships with key partners, including speakers and trainers. Identify and pursue new partnerships to strengthen the distributor network.
- Distributor Support and Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for distributors, ensuring they receive full support. Collaborate with internal teams to address distributor needs and share relevant market, operational, and regulatory insights.
- Reporting and Market Insights: Provide updates to management on key opportunities, risks, and recommendations. Use data to shape informed strategies.
- CRM and Performance Monitoring: Maintain accurate CRM data and track distributor performance. Proactively manage KPIs and address performance gaps.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.). MBA preferred.
- At least 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferably within the dental or medical device industry.
- Several years of experience with distributors of medical devices products
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English is mandatory, other languages are an asset
