Job Description:
A Sales Representative is a professional responsible for promoting and selling a company's products or services to potential customers. Their main responsibility is to achieve the sales targets set by the organization and generate revenue through acquiring new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and lead generation: Identify potential customers and engage in prospecting activities such as phone calls, in-person visits, participation in trade shows and related events, and use of digital marketing tools to generate qualified leads.
- Product/service presentation and promotion: Effectively communicate the features, advantages, and benefits of the company's products or services to potential customers. This involves conducting presentations, product demonstrations, answering questions, and overcoming objections to close sales.
- Follow-up and relationship management: Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and long-term loyalty. This includes providing post-sales support, resolving issues or complaints, and offering additional solutions or upgrades based on customer needs.
- Sales target achievement: Establish and achieve individual and/or team sales goals, following the guidelines and strategies set by the organization. Monitor sales progress, analyze results, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Market research: Stay updated on market trends, industry practices, and competitors to identify sales opportunities and develop effective strategies. Collect and analyze relevant information about specific customers and market segments.
Report preparation: Prepare periodic reports on sales activities, results, forecasts, and data analysis to present to management. Utilize customer tracking and management tools (CRM) to efficiently record and manage sales information.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the same sector or industry.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer orientation and ability to establish strong relationships.
- Aptitude for working independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and closing strategies.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).
- Willingness to travel as required.
