Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic leader in Digital and Brand Marketing to join our global marketing and marketing communications team. This role will oversee a team consisting of graphic designers, digital content specialists, agencies, tradeshow and event planner and brand management with potential to expand in the future. The leader will manage the strategy and execution for paid and organic media, continuously analyzing performance to optimize results. Additionally, the role will own brand management, content creation, and marketing collateral across multiple platforms, while directing comprehensive marketing strategies, product launches, programs, and budgets to meet sales and profit objectives and leverage global market opportunities.

 

The successful candidate will also need to take a hands-on approach, driving projects forward individually and collaboratively, owning team and personal output to enhance brand and product awareness and ensure digitally efficient marketing.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute organic social and paid media strategies to align with marketing objectives, brand identity, and target audience engagement.
  • Create and execute high-quality content across multiple social media, video, and email campaign platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, My Emma) to raise brand awareness and drive lead generation.
  • Work with team and agencies to manage paid media campaigns, including content creation, landing page development, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content ideas, product information, and industry insights to ensure content is accurate, informative, and relevant.
  • Craft engaging and visually appealing multimedia content, including images, videos, infographics, and interactive assets, while writing compelling, persuasive copy for posts, captions, and advertisements that effectively communicate key messages and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a content calendar to schedule and organize content delivery, ensuring consistency in brand voice, messaging, and frequency of posts.
  • Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify content opportunities, emerging topics, and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure all content developed globally meets ZimVie brand standards.
  • Analyze performance metrics and audience insights from both paid and organic media to optimize content performance, improve digital marketing efforts, and refine future strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate data to enhance marketing performance, driving toward a lower cost per acquisition (CPA) and a higher return on investment (ROI) or Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Manage, organize, and coordinate assigned programs to ensure financial and budgetary goals are met, while providing cost analysis for all services and programs to optimize budget efficiency and spending.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements related to healthcare marketing and ensure all content adheres to these standards as well as the ZimVie brand.
  • Manage all digital and brand agencies ensuring high quality content, output and management.
  • Ensure all brand collateral is delivered on time and managed appropriately, is of high quality, adheres to brand standards, and meets the inputs from cross functional teams for requirements.
  • Report out weekly status of content and collaterals, report out monthly digital marketing metrics and performance.
  • Responsible for continually creating, updating and implementing a brand and digital marketing strategy.
  • Responsible for the strategic oversight of the organization’s advertising and promotion activities including print, electronic, and direct mail outlets.
  • Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitive activity.
  • Manages global digital, brand, marketing communications department and North America tradeshow / events team.  Provides direction, mentors and evaluates; gives constructive feedback to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and continuity across business segments to meet company goals and objectives.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Demonstrated high level of organizational skills driving projects forward, prioritizing, and executing to final deliverable.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of digital and brand marketing, global market needs and issues, and a mastery of traditional marketing concepts. Understanding of ZimVie products a bonus and expected understanding will be needed over time.
  • Preferred understanding or experience of dental marketing and products or has experience marketing medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a global function with P/L responsibility and to maximize budget expenditures.
  • Strong interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills; demonstrated experience in personnel management and development plus cross functional team collaboration.
  • Thorough understanding of digital and global marketing and/or business practices.
  • Preferred strong understanding of global dental industry environment and competitive forces.
  • Oral and written communications skills. Must be able to command attention and deliver effective, compelling oral and visual presentations. In addition, must possess knowledge and have demonstrated expertise in promotional writing (advertising/sales support materials).
  • Skills in utilizing PowerPoint, Excel and word. Experience with HubSpot and Canva a plus.
  • Analytical/critical thinking skills.
  • Creative thinking abilities.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • B.S. degree, preferably in journalism, communications, public relations, graphic arts or closely related field
  • Leadership experience a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital and brand marketing, brand management and graphic production process preferably in healthcare or medical field or consumer advertising. 
  • Strong understanding of marketing regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent project management, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.  
  • MBA is preferred.
