Job Summary:

The Medical Education Associate Manager is accountable for assisting in the management of all educational activities at the ZimVie Institute.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with course/program faculty on development and planning of laboratory sessions.
  • Plan and organize the course requirements and implementation with course faculty and attending HCPs. 
  • Secure all models, parts & pieces, equipment/instrumentation needs, personnel and supplies required
  • Plan and organize the course requirements and implementation with course faculty.
  • Develop and maintain lab budget.
  • Serve as on-site floor manager and liaison between companies, faculty and ZimVie personnel to ensure overall success of the program.
  • Facilitate courses, train, and assist at workshops and labs for surgeons and sales force training.
  • Assist in regional sales force training held at the ZimVie Institute.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of educational activities and employs the appropriate changes to ensure effective allocation of resources.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Expected Areas of Competence (i.e., knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Detailed understanding of legal, compliance and regulatory requirements for assigned product scope.
  • Detailed understanding of the cadaveric constraints and regulations (OSHA/LAB) within each segment. Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and 5 to 7 years’ experience in medical device product environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred

 

Travel Requirements

               Up to 5%
