Job Summary
Responsible for performing various accounting duties including cash and debt accounting, international and intercompany accounting, assisting in the month end close process, reconciling accounts and providing accounting support to the Executive and the Finance departments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Cash and debt accounting
- International accounting (daily sales, invoicing, etc)
- Intercompany accounting (loans, invoicing, etc)
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Performs monthly account reconciliations, as assigned
- Conducts daily and monthly AR activities
- Handles AP processes including account coding, entry and payments
- Other clerical duties and projects may be required, as needed

- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints
- Ability to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple departments and levels of the organization
- Ability to learn new software programs easily and quickly
- Facilitates team efforts on multiple accounting projects
- Strong computer skills with an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of GAAP requirements
Education/Experience Requirements
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree in accounting or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 1-year of experience in A/P and A/R processing is required
- Experience in QuickBooks is a must
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be bilingual- English and Spanish
