Job Summary

 

As a Senior Territory Manager, you will manage the Territory Managers within Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia to ensure sales objectives are met. You will also have your own territory and focus on the sales operations across Victoria and South Australia. This autonomous position allows you to work from home while representing a reputable brand in a high-performing territory.

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

As leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, training and motivating assigned Territory Managers to drive revenue growth and ensure their individual development needs are met.
  • Create long-term sustainable business strategies for the assigned territories and target setting for the sales team.
  • Collecting customer and market feedback and report on territory trends/changes and competitor activities to the organization.
  • Monitoring sales team performance, analysing sales data, periodical forecasting and reporting to the General Manager.
  • Co-ordinate activities between the sales department and other sales related units.
  • Co-ordinate and lead the sales team at meetings and trade shows.
  • Assist other departments within the organization to prepare marketing materials suitable for the local market / territory.
  • Develop and implement product and sales training for new team members.

 

As sales professional, your responsibilities are:

  • Achieve the sales targets in the assigned territory by building strong customer relationships and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.  
  • Educate customers on products and ensure satisfaction within your assigned territory.  
  • Acquire new customers while expanding sales with existing accounts.  
  • Maintain patient safety standards in all customer interactions.  
  • Develop and implement a strategic territory business plan.  
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for effective sales management and reporting.

Qualifications

 

  • A strong sales expert with a proven track record in the medical space of acquiring and retaining customers.
  • Ability to focus on creating new business while nurturing key accounts.  
  • Capability to work autonomously when required.
  • Team player who thinks strategically.
  • Work experience as leader handling regional sales will be a plus.

 

Travel Requirements

 

Significant and frequent travel on own territory (90%)

Infrequent international travel.
