 Job Summary

 

As a Senior Territory Manager, you will manage a small team of Territory Managers within Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia to ensure sales objectives are met. You will also have your own territory and focus on the sales operations across Victoria and South Australia.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

As a leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing, training and guiding assigned Territory Managers to drive revenue growth and ensure they meet their sales targets.
  • Execute long-term sustainable business strategies for the assigned territories and break them down into individual targets for the sales team members. 
  • Collecting customer and market feedback and reporting on territory trends/changes and competitor activities to the organization.
  • Monitoring sales team performance, analysing sales data, periodical forecasting and reporting to the General Manager.
  • Coordinate activities between the sales department and other sales related units, like Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service.
  • Organize meetings with the sales team and plan the participation in trade show.
  • Develop and implement product and sales training for new team members.

 

As a sales professional, your responsibilities are:

  • Achieve the sales targets in the assigned territory by building strong customer relationships and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.  
  • Educate customers on products and ensure satisfaction within your assigned territory.  
  • Acquire new customers while expanding sales with existing accounts.  
  • Maintain patient safety standards and comply with legal and internal regulations in all customer interactions.  
  • Develop and implement a strategic territory business plan.  
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for effective sales management and reporting.

Qualifications

 

  • Education in the Dental field, business adminisration, medical or techinical background.
  • At least 5 years of successful sales experience in the MedTech industry with a proven track record of acquiring and retaining customers. Ideally worked in the Dental implants market.
  • First leadership experience would be a plus.
  • Able to create new business while nurturing existing accounts.  
  • Capability to work autonomously while being a team player.
  • Strategical thinking and the ability to break down a sales strategy into operational tasks is required.

 

Travel Requirements

 

Significant and frequent travel on own territory (90%)

Infrequent international travel.
